BRR 4 Women Mission
We organized BRR 4 Women to attract, retain, and enhance our relationships with female clients, as well as to further empower and educate women in our firm and within the financial services industry. With women projected to control two-thirds of the nation’s assets by 2030, we feel it is essential to provide women with the tools and knowledge they need to face financial challenges and achieve their goals.
With approximately half of our client base being managed by female leaders, our focus on female leadership is apparent. Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc. established a firm goal to enhance our reputation as a women-friendly wealth management firm among clients, peer firms, and members of our community. We have set out to achieve this goal by promoting our female employees in the community, enhancing the professional and leadership skills of our women, actively seeking female candidates for professional staff positions, and by reaching out to potential women clients through business development efforts.
It’s also central to our mission that we support and encourage all women in developing their careers, with a work-life balance, and by developing their abilities to become great leaders. We believe it’s important for women to be authentic and true to themselves in order for their best qualities to shine.
We are proud of the great strides we are making in our community. Our remarkable women (and men!) demonstrate their commitment to equality and diversity through various channels. Just some of the ways our employees are raising awareness and giving back are by participating on boards and in leadership programs, speaking to women’s groups, committing to be advocates in the community, and volunteering in a wide range of programs supporting women and girls of all ages. Our ladies are passionate about raising awareness in our community and working towards the greater good. We believe if we begin to make a difference in financial planning today, it will be a step in the right direction towards a better tomorrow.
We are excited to announce that our second annual Women in Wealth Management Scholarship program is accepting applications! The recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,500 toward their college tuition, as well as a paid summer internship with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe.
