I have always been a planner, even as a young girl. I set goals for myself and worked hard to achieve them. There were ups and downs, but I always kept moving forward and never looked back.
I began my college years set out to do accounting. My mother introduced me to financial planning by sharing an article with me describing the benefits women have in the industry. From that point forward, I knew I wanted to be a Certified Financial PlannerTM. With hard work and dedication, I graduated in 1999 and soon after began working as an Assistant Financial Planner for Budros, Ruhlin & Roe. In 2002, I passed the CFP® exam.
I am very grateful for having worked for the past 16 years for a very family oriented company. I have “grown up” at Budros, Ruhlin & Roe…married and started a family. The company has provided a lot of support and flexibility over the years, which has allowed me to be a mother and succeed in my career.
I live with my husband, Chris, and our two children, Bree and Ashton, in Hilliard, Ohio. I am an active member of the Rotary Club of Hilliard and enjoy volunteering my time with the Interact Club at Darby High School and teaching 7th and 8th grade students around Columbus the “Economics for Success” program through Junior Achievement. I also spend time volunteering for my daughter’s Girl Scout troop and for their school when I am able.
